Like animals build, the installation is a social
experiment in collaboration with time, climate and the intuitive sense of the community as we shaped the space organically over 7 days using materials
like waste mycelium blocks sourced from a local mushroom farm, bamboo, coffee waste and clay sourced locally. To metaphorically represent the communication with nature and its response to
our actions in rhythm, a center pillar is placed with
a pool of water in two parts, inviting the viewer to immerse their hands in order to create ambient
sounds that were collected from around the site in the same timeline of creation, embracing the
interconnectedness with the environment.
